21-3-2009 319) After a business trip in OsakaI visited at the Osaka castle
However, it was late so I couldn't get into the castle tower The castle is soooo shining because a lot of gold That's Osaka
I felt there was the origin of Osaka people in this castle Ummmmm, A lot of people says Osaka obashan (old? middle age women) loves animal printed clothes. BUT! There were a few obachan wore it!!
I couldn't see obachan but I found about ...
Many osaka obachan's make up are soooooo thick (top secret)
and A lot of young people wear big high heel shoes that are bigger than their foot.
That's interesting
Well, I wanna explore Osaka!!!!
and wanna laught!Kidding!! 13-12-2008 315) Akiyoshido(cave) in Yamaguchi PrefectureLast week I went to Yamaguchi Prefecture for some work-related reasons.
After I finished my duty there, however, I visited the cave called 'Akiyoshido'.
Actually I've been to Akiyoshido before (I think I was 5 years old at the time), and if there was a chance again to visit Yamaguchi-ken, I would absolutely go to there. I visited Akiyoshido yesterday because I remember that when I first saw the cave as a child I got a huge shock,
The cave was sooooooooo amazing. Well, Let's learn all about Akiyoshido!
Akiyoshido (秋芳洞) is the largest cave in Japan and the second largest in all of Asia.
Akiyoshido is a masterpiece of natural art and is located under Akiyoshidai
which is the largest karst formation in Japan.
The cave entrance is northwest of Yamaguchi City in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
This unique karst landscape covers a total of 130 square kilometers and contains more than 300 caves.
The temperature in the cave stays constant all year (about 17℃).
The cave was named "Akiyoshido" by Crown Prince Showa during his visit in 1926.
Before, it was (not so imaginatively) called Taki-ana or waterfall hole.
Akiyoshido took over 300,000 years to form and is still slowly being shaped by water flowing out of the karst plateau above.
The main enterance to the cave is at the bottom of the plateau
where the river of water following out from the cave exits.
Walking through the tall and narrow entrance slit reveals a seemingly impossible sized space
which is up to 100 meters wide.
'Long deep water'
Portions are so wide and tall that it ceases to feel like you're in a cave.
For that matter, the faux-wood fence on the concrete path and flood lights don't help either.
It feels a bit like a cathedral.
'lime flower waterfall'
It's not the most spectacularly beautiful cave in its lower sections for the most part.
Colored flood lights are used to dress up what is really mostly only mottled brown rocks.
'Umbrella show'
Its sheer size more than makes up for this and
midway through there are a number of interesting distinctive rock formations.
The highest accessible area where the path leaves the underground river packs in a lot more interesting features.
It is called '100 large plates
I love the place! When I was 5 I was so shocked when I first saw it! Dry Fall
rice fields
'golden pillar' is the most famous in the cave
It is 15metres high and 4metres wide!
The stalactite takes 100 years to grow by 3cm!!! In all, about 1.5 km of cave tunnels can be trekked through.
It takes about 1 hour to have a look at a cave but I was in the cave for 2 hours.
When i was 5 years old I got a huge shock because the cave was soooooooooooooooooooo amazing.
This time was no different! I had that same impression again!
Ahhhh I really like the amazing cave!
It was a really lovely day!
Please look at more photos in Akiyoshido album.
Souvenirs from Akiyoshido
Stalactite (brown, \100) and Marble (pink, \250)
Can you see growth rings?
The right side is the upper part of the icicle. The left is the lower part of the icicle. 27-10-2008 307) Would you like to go enjoy the autumn leaves with me?It was a very busy day
I woke up bloody early by a stupid some reason.
Ummmmmm...... Forget about it!
Anyway
I went to a town hall to get a license plate for my new secondhand scooter bike
One of my collegure will give the bike me coz he got another good bike.
I'll get the bike on 2nd of Nov. Lucky!
By the way.....
I went to onsen (hot spring)
The place is called 'Norikura' where is near Kamikouchi
Onsen's water is not clear, it's beautiful milkiness but smells is very sulphur I really enjoyed onsen with Norikura fantastic scenery. I was really in the heaven
After having onsen, I saw a lot of amazing autumn foliage
We say MOMIJIGARI
In Japan, autumn foliage is beautiful. Leaves turn bright red and yellow, and it is AMAZING!
I love the colourful leaves in the autumn.
I wanna have Momijigari with Pi-kun next year It was the excellent relaxing, I could find beautiful Japan 13-10-2008 304) Ise shrineWell, BF(Pi-kun) and I visited Ise shrine on 15th Sep
Ummm
Pi-kun loves visiting (studying) shrines so we decided to go to Ise to do the pilgrimage Hehehe, well...
My parents planned to visit the grave of my mother's ancestors in Sep
And luckily both Ise and the grave were are in Mie.
Soooooooooo Pi-kun and I asked to join their trip
and at last we could visit Ise shrine We looked around for a few hours and took thousands of photos Actually I hadn't been to Geku before but I felt connected to Geku more than Naiku Why I prefer Geku?
Because Geku is for the worship of harvest gods
Geku is smaller than Naiku but the shrines stand in quietness.
It looks very peaceful We left Geku and headed to Naiku on foot. It takes usually
But we took about
we had a bit of shrine pilgrimage along the main street At last we got NAIKU
The trees were much taller than they were when I visited Naiku a dozen years ago I was sooooo shocked A lot of time paaaaaaaaaaaassed Trees, we got old, didn't we? Ummmmm, Is there a river under the bridge? I remember there's a bridge but I can't remember there is a river
I totally forgot that there was a river
and Naiku is HUGE too
I totally forgot about Naiku
Anyway! Naiku is more famous than Geku. This means there are
Way Toooooo Annoying :P
We walked around there for a while
After exploring Naiku we went to Okage Yokocho おかげ横丁
Okage yokocho looks like the Edo period and I felt we travelled back to that time. and and I ate a lot of food. Also I bought 2 boxes of 'AKAHUKU
Akahuku is made of sweet beans and inside is sticky rice(mochi).
From old time, pilgrims had it with green tea for their short break.
And one more!
I bought 2 boxes of 'UIROU' that is a traditional Japanese steamed cake made of rice flour and suger.
It is chewy, similar to mochi, and subtly sweet.
Flavours, among others, include azuki bean paste, green tea and chestnut etc.
made of mugworts with azuki beans (above)
and
cherry blossom with azuki beans(below)
Just BEAUTIFULLY YUMMY
Anyway Pi-kun and I met my parents in front of Naigu entrance at 4 p.m? and it was time to go to Toba in Mie for dinner at a Ryokan(japanese hotel) 17-6-2007 215) a small trip with ex-colleaguesMy ex colleagues visited Matsumoto for a 2days trip which was last fri,
and they invited me to join with then. It's the absolutely enjoyable trip.
It's a second time to go to trips with them.
I haven't seen them for a year and was very excited to see them.
I couldn't stop smiling when I met them :D
They were very nice as same as when I worked with them.
Their smiles reminded me old memories that we've always bonded, we had a good teamwork.
We were the best group :D
Well,
When I met them they've already drunk soooooooo I needed to catch up with them :P
I drunk cans of beer and I quickly got drunk :P
Sorry, our faces are top secret coz of our job! hehe
We went to a hot springs where is called Asama onsen, and had a very nice outside hot springs.
It's neither big nor small but I could see stars in the night sky. It's beautiful.
The chilly winds made my body cool down. I felt sooooooo 'BLISS'.
I wanted to take a photo but there were already guests were having a bath, so I couldn't take photos. That was shame.
After that we had a dinner.
It's a break fast.
Then we chatted till very late night with beer and slept with them again a room :P
Next day, It's was a brilliant day. The sun was bloody shining.
It's just started rainy season in Matsumoto but there was nooooooo rain.
We were lucky :D
We visited some place and enjoyed walking.
I didn't know there are very beautiful nature near my house:D
I should buy a car (a cube car) so that I can visit peaceful places for relaxing :D
It's a wasabi softcream.
YUMMY!
It was our plan I said good bye to them in Matsumoto but it was soooo hard to say,
and they said come with us to Hachiouji where is their home town
and it also was my home town so I decided to head to Hachiouji with them.
On the way to go to Hachiouji we saw Mt Fuji very clearly.
After 3 hours driving we arrived there and I said good bye to them.
and I headed to MATSUMOTO AGAIN! This time was an express train tho :P
Ahhhh I miss them very much.
They were the best collegues in my life!
I wish I could work with them in future :D
The boss who always looked after me gave me a cute doll.
It's a misicbox in its body and when the music is on the face moves side to another side.
SOooooooo CUTE. Love it. 2-7-2006 Hot springs at AtamiI went to Atami
It was an absorutely fun♪ I really enjoyed very very very much♪
We were all tired when we headed there becauce of after finishing 24 hours work!
My workmates are the best specimen in existence of play!
Everybody loves making a racket.
As for this, there is no help for it because of our job. We have to pretend bloody good men and it is our job that we should give sermons to our children.
Moreover, we are always under pressure.
Anyway!
We headed there by cars that were driven by young workmates.
(Normaly, young staff has to work more than experienced staffs.)
I felt terribly sorry for them coz they were bloody tired.
I was extremely sorry for them that we were drinking so many beer in the car!
Only drivers couldn't drink! Thats was sooooooo cruel!
I felt soooooo sorry........
We saw the sea, when we came up to Atami.
We have gone through the coastline.
I saw the sea after a long time.
I use to go to beach and play with the water, when I was in Australia.
But after I came home here, I have never played with the water.
I didn't have time to spend time slowly.
I'm always rushed rushed rushed in my life in Japan!
so I felt sentimental.
I really love the sea, the water.
I am relieved when I am watching water.
We were drunk and had twilight feeling and at last we arrived at a japanese style hotel at Atami.
We said 'cheers' and began to drink beer as soon as we entered a room.
Young staff drunk in this time too. The young staff drank a lot of beer to catch up with our high spirit☆
Everyone got drunk and after that we went to have a nice lovely hot springs!
But, unfortunately I was an only girl (female) so I had to have it alone!
There was not a mix hot spring.....Booooooo!!
That was not good for girls at all! ummm? for boys???
Anyway, that was pity for me♪
There were 2 hot springs there, one is a big one (I think capacity is 10 people),
and another one is a small (for 4 people).
Mine was the small one
I also was the only female in this hotel!!! What a heavenly hotel for me!!!
So, I was very very relaxed and enjoyed having the hot springs alone!
At the beautiful dinner, we really had a banquet with a lot of alchool!
My workmates were fu☆kn heavy drinkers, and me too!
And there were marvelous yummy gourmet!! Haaaa, so yummy, especially FISH
Steamed fish, picled fish, fried fish, boiled fish, raw fish and so on!
That was just excellent! I never forget these teast.
I was in the heaven when I was eating!!!!
Atami has water and fish industries so we can eat yummy fish there.
A disappointing thing is that I forgot to take a photograph of gourmet.
After drinking(?) at dinner, we went for a walk in the town and the beach.
At the town, some friends tried to play a game and they were so excited, this game is like a pachinko and a pinball.
I don't understand why they were fascinated with this game!!!!
I played a shooting game, it was really fun for me! I was soooooooo excited. I used to play this game when I was a kids at festivals.
After enjoyed the games, we went to the beach and enjoyed chatting for a while.
I could not endure, and I rolled a hem of a yukata and entered to knees in the water.
It was soooooo cold but soooooooooo nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My feeling went to the heaven again!
Actually, I wanted to jump into the water and swim but I couldn't...
When here was Australia, I would certainly jumped into the water.
Everyone was surprised that when I entered the water and I was in high spirits like a child!
My image that they had was a woman of a scary intellectual adult.
(I sometimes tell about our work with a just argument and reason, and the true intention and principle very much. So they are scared about me. But I changed my image of them. I am happy now!)
After leaving the beach, we went to a ramen shop for snack!
It is becoming Japanese Culture that drunkers eat ramen after drinking.
We were so drunk and we slept crowded together in the same room.
Nobody care about that there were the only girl was sleeping on the same room.
Care about meeeeeeeeeee!
Actually I had an own room but I didn't wanna sleep alone.
That was sad! so I said to friends
'I wanna sleep with you guys please!!!!!!!!!!'
and I slept with them (by force?)
I really like my group. My group is the best
Next day,
We visited the Odawara Castle and had look around.
There are a lot of histories in this castle.
But one thing I can't understand that why there is an elephant in this chastle?? What is this point??????????
Anyway,
Before backing home, we had a gourmet lunch at a restaurant that has a fishpond.
We had very fresh fish from this pond. It was soooooooooooo beautiful taste!
I realy had a enjoyable days!!!
But....
I am still child, I got a fever
I played too much obviously!
I am a stupid, man!
I uploaded some photos in my photo album. |
